Columbus Food Festivals

Looking to get off campus and explore Columbus? Check out these events happening around the city featuring local restaurants and service organizations and send your pictures to us!

August 18th and 19th: Columbus Food Truck Festival (Bicentennial Park / Scioto Mile; 11 am to 11 pm) -- Come visit the largest food truck festival in the Midwest, featuring over 50 food trucks, live music, and the 6th annual Duck Race benefitting Nationwide Children's Hospital. September 8th: Ohio Bacon Fest (Columbus Commons, 4pm to 10pm) -- Bacon lovers rejoice! Come out to Columbus Commons to taste the bacon creations of several food trucks and restaurants and witness the Bacon Eating Contest! Tickets needed and start at $5 -- visit http://ohiolovesbacon.com/ for more information.

September 25th - 30th: Burger & Beer Week ( 11 am to 11 pm) -- Visit any participating restaurant around Colmbus during Burger week for gourmet $6 burgers. To see a full list of restaurants included and their menus, visit http://EAT614.com.

September 29th and 30th: The North Market Festival for Good (North Market, Friday -- 6 pm to 10 pm and Saturday -- 2 pm to 10pm) -- Come out to the North Market to sample creations from North Market merchants, local breweries, distilaries, and winieries, while hearing local enterntainmnet and supporting the North Market Development Authority and The Festival for Good. Entry is free, but food and beverages must be purchased. September 30th and October 1st: Columbus Coffee Fest (Ohio Village at the Ohio History Connection, 6pm to 5 pm) -- Calling all coffee lovers! This festival showcases local coffee shops and allows ticketholders to meet and greet (and sample!) with local vendors all while hearing some great live music. October 6th: Mac & Cheese Festival (Easton Town Center, 4pm to 8 pm) -- Is there anything better than Mac & Cheese? How about chefs whipping up their most creative mac & cheese concoctions to benefit the Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program at OSUCCC? This is sure to be a hit for all ages. Tickets needed. Every Saturday: Farmer's Market at North Market (North Market, 8 am to 1 pm) -- Every Saturday, the North Market brings together local farmers to sell fresh, homegrown produce as well as other treats and goods.
