Recipe 4 Good
Changing Columbus, one spoonful at a time...
We are Recipe 4 Good, a student-run organization at The Ohio State University. Our mission is to serve the Columbus community and engage our members by teaching them new cooking skills, techniques, and recipes.
We services places like Manna Cafe, Ronald McDonald House, and Faith Missions to prepare, serve, and clean up home-cooked, healthy meals.
Although service is our main focus, we also like to get to know our members better and have fun! We host group social events and fundraising events. At group dinners, we pick a menu ahead of time, cook it together, and hang out. These events are a great way to get to know other members, and enjoy a meal YOU make!
We also have fundraising events to raise money for our service partners and our club so we can buy the food for our volunteering events. Our best-selling fundraisers are the Buckeye Brownie fundraisers held on the campus near Ohio Stadium before every home football game! Our members bake, wrap, and sell buckeyes and brownies to collect donations.

I am a fourth-year Logistics major with a minor in Spanish from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. I would love to work in the non-profit sector when I graduate and hopefully be traveling abroad to make some use of my Spanish minor. I really enjoying cooking and baking in my free time so when I found out Recipe 4 Good was a cooking AND community service organization I was hooked. Recipe 4 Good has combined my love of cooking and my passion for volunteering and I can’t wait to be a part of the growth of this amazing club in the years to come!

I am a third-year student majoring in Biology, and am also on the pre-health track. I currently do virology research in veterinary biosciences in the vet school here at Ohio State. I am also a member of OSU Men’s Glee. I discovered this club through a friend and really love the concept of it! It brings together all of my favorite things- cooking, volunteering in the community, and connecting with friends. So far, I’ve gotten to meet some awesome people and learn how to cook new foods and I can’t wait to see where this club will go!

I am a fourth-year Marketing major originally from Philadelphia, PA. My goal after I graduate is to be a part of a marketing team for a film studio in Hollywood. Outside of Recipe 4 Good I am a member of the Undergraduate Business Women’s Association and I am also a part of the Humanities Scholars program. I joined Recipe 4 Good as a freshman because it combines two of my favorite things: cooking delicious foods, and helping people in need! Plus, It provides a great opportunity to meet new people and volunteer my time in a beneficial way.
I am a fourth-year student majoring in Medical Laboratory Science. I joined Recipe4Good because I love both cooking and community service. I am also a contributor for The Sundial, a student led humor magazine on campus.

I am a third-year International Relations major with a minor in french. It's hard to say where I’m really from because I’ve lived all over. Originally, I was born in Alberta, Canada but then I moved to Egypt and then Texas. I love animals, travelling, biking, dance and food of course! I have a dog called Taz who is entirely Egyptian and he’s the love of my life :). Other than Recipe 4 Good, I’m in AWOW and in a sorority. I love Recipe4Good because we actually get to help people, and see how our efforts serve them. It is my passion to help people, and by working with Ronald Mcdonald, fundraising, or making huge dinners we are all giving back in some way, and food is pretty great too.
